Who it's for

Staff appointed as fire marshals or fire wardens, and their deputies.

The Fire Safety Order requires the responsible person to appoint competent people to help with fire safety, and to have procedures for evacuating the premises. Fire marshals are the usual way of meeting that duty. The course covers the knowledge; walking your own building's routes should still be done on site.
