Who it's for

Anyone who lifts, carries, pushes or pulls at work.

The Regulations set a clear order: avoid hazardous manual handling so far as is reasonably practicable, assess what cannot be avoided, and reduce the risk of injury. There is no legal maximum weight: the HSE weight guidelines are a filter that shows when a closer look is needed. It runs fully online, with a 10-question check and a certificate on passing.

This is an awareness course. Lifting technique is best practised in person, so pair it with hands-on training for the loads and tasks your people really handle. It does not replace your manual handling risk assessments.
