Slips, trips and falls.
Slips and trips are among the most common causes of injury at work, and most are easy to prevent. This course covers what causes slips, from spills to the wrong footwear, trips from cables, clutter, uneven floors and poor lighting, and staying safe on stairs, steps and ladders. It ends with a walk-round where learners spot each hazard and decide whether to fix it or report it.

Who it's for
Everyone at work, in any kind of workplace.
The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 require floors and traffic routes to be in good condition and, so far as is reasonably practicable, kept free of anything that could cause a slip, trip or fall. Where someone could fall and be injured, even from a step stool, the Work at Height Regulations 2005 apply. It runs fully online, with a 10-question check and a certificate on passing.
This is an awareness course. It does not replace your employer's risk assessment, site rules or specific training, for example on choosing and checking ladders and other access equipment for the work you do.
Narrated video lessons with captions, on any phone, tablet or computer. Fully online.
10 questions, marked by the system. Learners need 8 correct (80%) to pass.
Issued on passing, valid for a year, and kept on record for four years.
